The Wheels on the Bus...

***The Trib questions the ethical backbone of all the IL Dems in their cowardly handling of the Burris Embarassment.  Including, GASP, The Obama!  How dare they...

No, we haven't forgotten the leading Democrat from Illinois, President Barack Obama. We understand why a president doesn't want to get immersed in back-home politics. But during his Senate days, Obama was his party's designated spokesman on ethics matters. He campaigned on a vow to bring a higher level of ethics to Washington. Here is a critical ethics case, Mr. President.

***The University of Chicago Hospitals is planning on shifiting patients who enter their ER to other hospitals and clinics under a new initiative that has come under attack by ER docs across the US.  This was a blip on the radar screen during the campaign because The Obama was talking about his universal health care approach WHILE his wife was working for a hospital group that wants to shed patients who don't pay their bills.  Now the ER docs are calling for a Congressional investigation.  Oops.

***A camera on every street corner.  Thanks Comrade Daley!

***Why don't they just shove a GPS bug up our collective asses and track us and tax us for absolutely everything we do?!?!?!  This is absolute BS, especially for the millions of people who don't live in urban areas and actually HAVE to drive miles and miles to get to work & school, etc.  Secretary LaHood has certainly bought the crap The Obama is spewing.  Disgusting & Troubling...

***TheNYT continues to attempt to distance The Obama from the economic meltdown.  When it was President Bush, the economy was completely his fault.  Every article that dealt with the economy seemed to blame Bush.  Now, though, the NYT has a lead story about the global economy and not one mention of The Obama Administration.  Hell, every time The Obama or one of his economic experts open their mouths, the Market takes another dip.

***But the NYT is still after more gun control.  It starts with these little things and then, of course, that wasn't so bad so why don't do this next 'little' thing and the next and the next and the next thing you know, no guns for you...

***Tomorrow the GOP County Chairmen will pick Senator Frank Watson's replacement.  Yes, we have a dog in the fight and if he emerges as the new Senator, we'll have him on the air early next week.
