***How screwed up are the animal rights and enviro-weenies when they attempt to torch Mayor Daley's summer home because a Cougar was killed by Chicago police?  These left-wing terrorists have destroyed millions and millions of dollars in property and at times set back medical research years and years.  Stupid.

***McCain & Iraq.  This seems to be a legitimate, doable thing & something that a majority of voters want to hear and see realized:  Definable Victory.

The United States maintains a military presence there, but a much smaller one, and it does not play a direct combat role."

***US Supreme Court be damned.  Clearly, SCOTUS has never heard of Illinois Democrats and how much they LOVE voter fraud...Mandating voters have proper ID died in the House yesterday...

***Kass has a great column about The Sweetie...S-word Gate, or whatever they'll call it, is delicious because he's a liberal Democrat, the wing of politics that brought us political correctness —or Thought Crimes—in the first place.

Now, watching liberals spin out of it, and knowing what they'd do to Sen. John McCain if he ever used the S-word on Diane Sawyer or Katie Couric, all the hypocrisy revealed, is payment enough.

So true.

***So yesterday, President Bush indicates in Israel that the US will stand with Israel.  He made the point that in 1939 when the Nazis rolled thru Poland, there were those who thought talking to Hitler would've stopped the madness that ensued.  Bush was saying that there are terrorists & organizations & countries that don't care about any or all of the rhetoric in the world.  They want to destroy Israel once and for all and the US will stand with the Israeli people. 

If The Obama & the screeching wing of the Dem party want to believe that Bush was talking about The Obama, why don't we let The Obama speak for himself.  From the NYT and David Brooks today:

Hezbollah is one of the world’s most radical terrorist organizations. Over the last week or so, it has staged an armed assault on the democratic government of Lebanon.

Barack Obama issued a statement in response. He called on “all those who have influence with Hezbollah” to “press them to stand down.” Then he declared, “It’s time to engage in diplomatic efforts to help build a new Lebanese consensus that focuses on electoral reform, an end to the current corrupt patronage system, and the development of the economy that provides for a fair distribution of services, opportunities and employment.”

There you go, Israel.  If only Lebanon had fair elections and ended the patronage system, the terrorists would 'stand down'.  That's right.  The Obama calls for Lebanon to end the very same things that put him in office in Illinois.
